Hi

Came across this scene I'd heard of, but never seen before, features the recently passed British actor David McCallum.

Scene starts at 34 minute mark. It's a bit too dark to make it all out, but another one to cross off the list.

Ah yes. The time that Man from U.N.C.L.E. teamed up with The Avengers. Good stuff.

Seriously though, chalk this one up as another example of a dark scene that completely fails when it has been stepped down to video. Still hoping for a decent copy of the Riverboat scene.

Good find though, in any case. Thank you for the link. :)

If you're looking for the riverboat scene with Darren Mcgavin, good luck! I've been searching for that for years!

Here is a copy of the Riverboat episode, scene starts at 44 minute mark. Not too bad, but could look a lot clearer in HD from original film

Wow. Nice pull. Thanks.

That certainly is better than the two crap copies I located on VHS back in the day. Maybe some day, someone with some agency will do a proper transfer from the original film. I'm not holding my breath though. The folks who would be interested in this series are dying off.
