This is a VERY good scene, especially compared to the standard for Bollywood QS scenes. The mud pit _IS_ very muddy, not sand-water.
The setup is very nice. The lady character has to cross a wide bog to reach a magical tree. One step into the clearing and she slowly begins to sink. She loses her shoes and uses paving tiles to cross, but each one is dramatically set up so that they gradually sink deeper, until she plunges up to her chest. There is a submersion (albeit heavily edited - it doesn't look like the actress was actually dunked in), and she pulls herself free and is entirely covered in mud. Scene ends with a typical Bollywood wet sari scene as she is hosed down.
Ticks a lot of boxes - attractive young actress, drama, feet, submersion and full coverage.
