Nothing too exciting here, but this is a clip I've been looking for for a while, an old film called Caravan.

Stewart Granger steps into some mud, and a girl warns him of quicksand. Nice looking set they built, though.

theres another scene at the end from bout 1:54 or so where the villain is chased into those quicksands at night

Points for a cool cry at the end.... plus, did anyone else notice the lady who warns our hero of the quicksand was swimming naked? She gives good flank...

Heh, thought they handled that pretty well. The earlier scene in the film was a pretty obvious "Chekov's Gun" foreshadowing situation there, as the scene would have been a bit pointless if it were not setting up the chase at the end of the film.

Zodiac Legends episode 26. Another one I don't know much about. But a kid and a woman meet in a swamp and they both sink. She is rescued, but the kid sinks to an underwater world.

Wow, that was a surprisingly decent scene that they put some effort into. They did some good sound effects. Of course for us it's a shame that the kid was the one that did most of the sinking. The kid was a pretty good actor, did a decent job of pretending to be stuck and then sinking.

And while there are lots of films that have characters sinking and then somehow ending up in underground caves or something, an underwater world makes far more sense. And this is the first time I've seen that X-ray crossection type view done in something that isn't an artwork here.

Hi guys. Still working on a couple new live action scene, but I did find a fun Anime scene.
It is from Zettei Bouei Leviathan episode 2. The main girl gets scared and runs from some large
bugs and ends up in a bottomless swamp. A decent portion of the episode is trying to get her out.
A dragon pops out of the bog pushing her out (right before her friends were going to jump in to
save her. BUMMER!!) . Pretty fun scene. Longer than most, good combo of comedy and drama.
Episode 3 also has potential because they now need to fight the dragon and the episode title is "Ill go Deep". Enjoy

Jeez its a real shame that the English version/release of this anime edited this scene slightly in a way that removes some nice details. For example, the upwards shot from behind Bahamut shows her slowly sinking in the Japanese version, but in the English its a still frame with just the fairy talking. These kind of things annoy me as a connoisseur of anime quicksand scenes.

I discovered the copy had a portion of video edited out of the middle, and as such the sound goes grossly out of sync halfway through.

I repaired it and re-uploaded the clip. Lost all those views in total view counts, but that's my error for not checked better.
