Deep Peat Bog Sinking on Amazing Race - longer clip added

I don't know if anyone else caught it last night, but one of the blonde country singer girls got herself in deep during a Roadblock on The Amazing Race. She was supposed to snorkel the length of a flooded peat trench and back, but when she got to the end, she climbed up out onto a bridge and jumped into the peat/mud-filled bog on the other side, sinking up to her chest. I have no idea how to convert TiVo files to another format that I can edit down, but here are a few screenshots.

You would need some sort of capture device for that.

But the pictures are cool. I read about this, and wondered if the episode was viewable online. Thank you for the post.

That was a nice scene but wish it had more to it since it was really quick. There was an amazing race scene about 5-6 years ago where the contestants jumped over a fence into a mud pit. A couple of the contestants were stuck thigh deep and the struggle was pretty good getting out. If anyone could find a copy of that scene, it would be much appreciated.

Also in reply to PM2K's comment, I think these reality shows are great opportunities for quicksand/mud scences. There was 1 about a year or 2 ago I think love in the wild which was actually pretty good when the contestants were stuck in quicksand. I always hope they come up with a survivor where they have to cross a quicksand pit. They can use rope and planks and have a real good struggle at it. I think for jungle reality shows that would be so relevant. Also I love the reality of the reality shows. They are not actors but actually stuck. Fear factor had so opportunities but did not go all the way on it. Something that makes you think that is less a fantasy and more about anyone of us can just find a location and experience it.
