UK sinking locations
Found this site by accident and also found some useful locations- also, you could add your own! Just type in "quicksand". Regards, all http://www.geograph.org.uk/

Re: UK sinking locations
There's a tall tale / urban legend about this farmer rescuing a boy from "certain doom" in a black mud bog in Scotland; the boy turned out to be the son of an upper-crust fellow, who offered to give the farmer's son a good education. The farmer's son became a fine doctor. The rescued boy was Winston Churchill, the prime minister of Britain during much of the Second World War.
So, presumably, there are some delightful black mud bogs in the countryside and wilderness of Scotland. Wish I was over there to explore for them and try them out.

Yep, that's exactly what it is.
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for over 20 years. Thank you.

I originate from the South of England and have visited this place many times. It is one of the best places to find fossils around. The cliffs are made up of London clay, which is readily eroded- to the detriment of the homes at the top! I would definitely regard this area as "Watch your step"-worthy
