Years ago (or maybe it was just one, I don't know.) someone here named Chimerix posted a story. I don't remember the name of it, but I do remember that it was a "choose your own adventure" type story that he created using a program. I think the program was called Twine. I'm struggling to remember details, but I think the female character tricked the male character into quicksand while hiking and I think it was written from the first person POV, not 100% sure.
Chimerix has 600+ post here, so I'd take me forever to go through them all in order to find it myself, but perhaps one of you have the post bookmarked or downloaded the story when he first posted it. I could have sworn I downloaded his story, but I can't find it.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
