I believe that is from the Disney movie Wizards of Waverly Place, a cute series starring Selena Gomez... who didn't get into quicksand, alas...

I agree. The pic makes the pit look a lot better than it was. If I remember correctly it was watery? But still How Selena didn't end up in it is beyond me. Wish I was a fly on the wall for that decision.
