In tha comedy "Caveman," with Ringo Starr and Shelly Long, a character wanders into tar and the rest of the cast including Long get all mucky... I never saw the scene but heard about it.

It was a blind man who wandered into the tar, and had to be rescued. If I remember correctly, the "mucky" parts were incidents involving dinosaur "doo-doo".

If I remember right the character is played by Jack Guilford as an old, blind, funny, caveman. Shelley Long almost follows him in yet another great missed opportunity. The whole thing is played for mild drama and comedy as Ringo and a buddy fish him out. 8-)
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.
