soap opera

There was a soap opera, one of the main popular ones, and I'm almost positive the year was 1995. Anyway bear with me, this is a true story. I worked at a grocery store, and when I was bored would look at the soap opera magazines. there was a two page plot outline, with pictures, of an upcoming episode that dealt with two 
of the main male and female characters that get trapped in the basement of a house that is sinking in mud due to a bad foundation. They referred to it as a sinkhole. The main picture I remember showed both the man and the women covered in regular looking mud, and clearly struggling and straining, but the picture was only from the waist up, but it was good. I caught the last part of this story on tv as it was a cliffhanger type thing that went on for a couple days. I think the female characters name was Taylor butt I'm not sure. I've done extensive research trying to find or at leat confirm the scene and the plot but have had no success. The scene ends with the two of them getting pulled out of a bog by another male character, but the main scenes were in a basement with mud everywhere. I still think about that particular soap often, as it was very arousing and intense.
