Quicksand Fans

Talking about and seeing the Harlequin Romance scene made me realize someone had once posted the quicksand scene from the Swamp Thing movie, which was never filmed... alas.... but appeared in the novelization. I wonder if anyone would be kind enough to repost that?

yes, i remember reading that and then imagining Adrienne Barbeau's performance...

Wouldn't it be something if one of the current producers here could get Adrienne to do a scene?

I think I would ALLOW her to do a scene, for her private use or whatever, but that's all. "Better late than never" might be a good title. I looked at a web page that appears to be her's, in which she says "It’s been a pretty eclectic career so far – all I can think that’s missing is animal trainer and high wire act – and I can’t wait to see what’s coming next." Perhaps someone should contact her and suggest that she add "a quicksand scene" to her (bucket list). I'm told she declined to do such a scene for Swamp Thing but I have no idea if that story is true.

While she's always been young, she had twins at 51, it might be expecting a bit much from a 72 year old lady.

I hadn't seen this novelisation and was looking around to see if there was a cheap copy I could get and i found this on eBay
