Anybody seen this?

Hey everybody,

A good friend of mine just sent me this picture and says its from a movie? Does anybody know if this is real and if so what the movie is called?

I recall seeing this shot before, but I am not sure where it's from. It's possible it was from a sci-fi movie of some sort, but be damned if I can place it :)

It's bad movie legend Linda Blair of Excorsist fame. I can't recall the specific flick but her body has been cut in half and she is dragging her torso with her arms. Looks great but totally sucks in reality. 8-)
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

I believe the actress is Blair Brown and not Linda Blair, and the movie title is "Altered States."

I knew it was Blair something and she wasn't all there. Chasey Lane did something similar in another awful movie I saw once, "Samhain" or something like that.
