Perhaps you, group, with this disastrous description you can know the name of the film: I remember that in my homeland on television was broadcast when I was a child a movie in which at some point you see an explorer sink in quicksand, I do not remember all the scene but if a group of people are jumping on the helmets of what seem to be more explorers, one of that group has a very long beard and a kind of religious missionary costume,t,I remmember the explorer have a dark skin, not black, and I remmember something like a trap in a bridge, maybe a lava pit? and not is the mines of solomon,I'm sure of it!

Back in 2001, there was the movie "The Mummy Returns", where some bad guys sink into quicksand, and pygmy mummies use their vanishing heads as stepping stones.
I could only find the clip that leads up to most of the sinking scene, but ends just before the pygmy mummies step on their heads:

That was indeed
King Solomon's Mines, the 1985 version.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089421/I located it by searching on the easily remembered line "Stop Sinking! That's an order".

[Hmmmm. On second thought, maybe I misread the last line of the original post.]
