A scene I remember, but cannot find.

I can remember watching a scene on TV (live-action) which involves a sentient blob on the floor, which slides under a girl and sucks her in, but like into some quicksand dimension because the blob stays like a puddle and doesn’t wrap around her or anything. She just sinks into it. I believe this was made like 2010s, so does anyone remember?

Sounds kind of like a scene from Stargirl. There was another, similar scene that I remember, but I can't find it on YouTube.

For most of my life I have had "memories" of things I just cannot place. There are several movie scenes included. I have come to the conclusion that most, if not all, of them are false memories - probably from dreams.

To elaborate, what I think is my earliest "memory" of anything related to quicksand is that I was about 6 or 7. It was a Saturday morning and I was in the living room and our black and white TV was doing some sort of Saturday morning children's program that every week had some sort of adventure flick. That much I KNOW is all real. The mystery memory says there was an ad for some horror movie coming to "a theater near you) and a trailer was included. The trailer had a young women backing up in terror from some sort of monster. She falls backwards into quicksand. Then there was a cutaway to something else and when it cuts back all that is left is her arms reaching and falling alternately. I thought for many years that was from a real movie and have even tried to inquire to people here. No luck. I have concluded it was a dream or some other kind of false memory. But the scene made such an impression I still want to do a re-make, for which I need a suitable monster puppet.

I remember when the Sub Mariner cartoon scene (Quagmire of Doom) I saw only once around 1968-69 as a child seemed almost like a dream for most of the rest of my life. Then some 40 years later I finally see it again thanks to the internet. The animation quality was better in my memories though, but was still glad to see it again.
