Sherlock Holmes, Hound of the Baskervilles, the Hammer Film version from the '50s

A far too short demise in the mire for the villianess 8-)

kham is absoulutely correct. It is a very quick (no pun intended) scene - she sinks under in about 3 to 4 seconds. Given her villianry in the movie, a 2 to 3 minute slow sink would have been more appropriate, also would have been much more enjoyable.

As kham says, this scene was far too short, The actress in question is the rather lovely Marla Landi, an Italian actress who married an English gentleman by the name of Sir Francis Dashwood after her acting career finished.

The scene appears to have been longer at one point, as during a preview clip for the trailer of the film, it shows her struggling and screaming for a longer while... it is covered up by the title credits, though...

The goddamned scene with Watson earlier in the film was about 10 times longer :P

Here is a slightly higher quality version of the full scene:

And here is the Grimpen Mire - only part, very fun to watch looping/repeating (for some reason, VLC cuts the end off, so it works best with another player such as QuickTime):
