Quicksand Fans

I recall this from my childhood, when I was 3. There was an episode from Buck Rogers where he was with a woman on some planet, and a tentacle reached out from a mound of sand or sand pit (i dont recall) and tried dragging her into it. Does anybody recall this or have this, or was my fascination for women in sand and sinking peril kicking into overdrive back then?

I don't have the scene but I do recall it, so your memory is correct.

The girl was Jamie Leigh Curtis, who's mother is Janet Leigh. Janet Leigh stared with Vera Miles in Psycho, and we all know that Vera was in Tarzan's Hidden Jungle. FYI

Oh, and Vera Miles also did a guest staring role on Buck Rogers.

I didn't realize that was Jamie Lee Curtis. I recall the scene and thought the blonde who got caught by the sand creature had nice legs. Well, no WONDER I thought she had nice legs! Jamie Lee Curtis is most attractive and quite sinkable!
