I'm trying to recall if the story you speak of was a short story posted to the same thread that AT posted the image. And, that particular thread, if I recall correctly, may be on the other Quicksand Forum from which we all eventually moved here from. I'm also trying to recall whether someone may have wrote a "Halloween Quicksand Story Contest" entry based on AT's drawing that was hosted on that particular Quicksand Forum.

You may want to try going to that particular forum and do a search for "Acidtester" or "Halloween Quicksand Story Contest" to see what you can find.

By, "Just found your short story..." are you saying I wrote it? :-?

I know I posted something back then in reference to AT's drawing... just don't recall writing a short story. Yeah, five years IS a long time, and I believe whatever I wrote was "chicken pecked" as a "reply" on that thread to AT's work.

Anyway, if that's what you were seeking, you're welcome!

Still a very nice one :)

Guys, we don't need to be so coy about Deep Sinking.

The story is here http://deepsinking.org/bb/viewtopic.php?t=6958

All I ask, and this is just me, is that if anyone has something subjective to say about DS, that they do it there.

The story was posted inline.

And it's still there.

I don't see it. What does "inline" mean?

Inline means that it is a part of the thread itself (i.e. directly on the thread page(s)). 8-)
