long ago I saw a movie quicksand, remember part of the scene but not the name and I would like your help and if possible give a clip.Recuerdo the scene was in a jungle or something like a car stops and vaja a man to see what happens, then something hit them from behind and pushed to the quicksand, man clings to car bonnet Intended to save but in vain, as I recall he had a kind of pump and a girl in trouble inside the car but do not remember much

This soundslike the movie "D.O.A", and it wasn't quicksand, it was a tarpit, the one at La Brea in LA I think.

Though DOA definately wasn't in a jungle. And there was no girl in trouble in the car, and there was no pump. So... doesn't sound much like it.

Sounds like a movie i saw way back in the day on Sci Fi channel,i believe about an earthquake? The car pulled a "superman" type drop into a crevasse with sand/dirt surrounding it? And i think, although i could be wrong, the girl may have been a young Kayle Couco?

I remember that movie, and remembered it had a sequel where North America ended up being cut in half by a new tectonic rift. I remembered the scene in question was in the first movie, where the ground opened up, swallowing the car with gravel pouring in, burying everything, like dry quicksand. At first I couldn't remember the name, until I did a search of disaster earthquake movies. The movie is called
"10.5", and was a miniseries, with the sequel called
"10.5: Apocalypse".
