Missing One Story...

I hope that somebody here has a copy of the story that I wrote for the first Deep Sinking Halloween contest. I can't find it there now.

I think it was called "Scarlet 58" and it was about an executioner. She is allowed to choose the method of execution for the people she does away with, and she decides to sink a guy to death in a quicksand-like substance. She goes through with this with relish, fully believing him to be a brutal serial killer.

The twist to the story is that she finds out after doing it that they convicted the wrong guy for the crimes.

I have everything else I've ever written about quicksand, but that one slipped through the cracks somehow. I got a feeling that I had a hard drive crash before I archived it to CD.

If anyone here has it, go ahead and post it (warning, though, it's grim reading!), and thank you very, very much.
