Yeah, it would've been really nice if Sarah Stickney White (Caitlin O'Heaney) had gotten stuck in quicksand at least once in,
Tales of the Gold Monkey. She certainly was quite sinkable.

Well... seems I recall in the pilot episode of
Bring 'Em Back Alive where Gloria Marlowe (Cindy Morgan) had driven her car off the road and into some shallow water (a lake, swamp, river, etc.), and her car began to slowly sink as if into quicksand or deep mud. She had to go to the top of the car's roof because there were alligators and/or crocodiles in the water surrounding the sinking car waiting to get her once she got down to their level. Frank Buck (Bruce Boxleitner) rescued her by swinging from a rope or vine and sweeping her off the car roof. So, based on the way the car was slowly and deliberately sinking into the water, seemed she had driven it into quicksand.
Also, if I recall correctly, there was one scene where Gloria and Frank were out on the river, he came down with malaria, and she tried to save his life. Seemed there was one scene where she was trying to get him ashore and had to wade through some deep, thick looking mud. If I recall this scene correctly, it was a missed opportunity to get her stuck and sinking in the mud. She, too, was quite sinkable.
Anyway, both were outstanding shows. They don't make them like that any more.
