Quicksand Fans

Wondering if someone out there has a copy of this tale. I believe the author's name was Brand. The story "Mire" involved a warrior who is lured into a mire and seduced by some sort of mud woman (as in made of mud), who forces him under while making love. Pretty cool stuff... and damned if I can locate the old file I once had of the story....

Any help would be greatly appreciated....

I don't have my copy any more as it died with my first computer. He posted that on my Yahoo Group.
