Heres a couple pics of a quarry i have recently been going to.

This is pics of just one of the pics. most of it is only around knee to waist deep. i did find one spot that i got to chest deep and still didn't hit the bottom.
it was a great spot right up untill it went all solid on me... at chest deep with both my arms past elbow deep.

mind u i did enjoy the struggle of getting out. took me 10 mins to dig my self out. i dont have any pics of this as i do not wanna risk my phone near the water while sinking.

i did look at another pit at the same time but there wasn't much deeper then shin deep and while i was coming out from that pit(it was dark around 10pm) i saw a set of head lights driving round so i got the hell out of there.

there are a heap more pits to check out there so i might have to check more of them out :)

Looks like you may have struck gold there. Is it far from the cbd?

I was stuck up to my hips in quickmud/sand like that in an similar quarry a while back.

I thought I'd have to yell for help, but I eventually broke free by gradually working one leg after the other in a time of about 5 minutes or so.

Freezing cold day, but I managed to work up a sweat.
