hi,
i thougt i post some pics of a spot that i found this year. the bad thing is that the main pit is almost dried up again, and the little claypit right next to it is complete flooded.
the main pit has a very nice consistency, it had a light brown top layer an under it there was complete black mud which almost looks like tar but the consistency was more like thick grease. i first tested the deepht with a stick, and i could put a 3 meter stick in it without touching the ground.
it was the best spot i ever found, but i think it will not be the last one.

@muddy59: i wear a cycling bib short and jersey. after swimming in a lake to wash up i could drive home in it, without anyone could imagine how dirty it was before

Impressive looking spot. Very generally in what part of the world is this located?
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for over 20 years. Thank you.

its in the middle of germany. it is in a gravel pant that is for a long time out of service. i was very surprised to found this kind of dark gluey mud in this location, because you usually find light brown mud there... like in the last pictures.
