I tried to lean back. Stay on top of the surface by lying on your back. That’s what I heard about what to do if you are in quicksand!

The churning movements I made must have softened up the mud beneath me, making the mud give way to my weight! I was starting to get a little concerned!

I managed to get my left arm free by lifting it above the surface!
