THE NIGHTRAID WAS A SUCCESS! THE ENEMY MUNITIONS WERE BLOWN UP AND THE TROOPS RETREATED! BUT PRIVATES GANT AND GEDDINS LAGGED TOO FAR BEHIND, LOST TRACK AND STUMBLED INTO A FIELD FULL OF QUICKSAND!!

BETTY AND CLARA WERE DETERMINED TO SURVIVE, BUT TRYING TO STAY ALIVE, THEY DISMISSED THEIR INTIAL TRAINING ABOUT WHAT TO DO IN QUICKSAND, THUS STRUGGLING TO ESCAPE CAUSED THEM TO SINK FASTER!

THEY COULD CRY OUT FOR HELP, BUT IT MIGHT BRING THE ENEMIES TO THEM, EITHER TO SHOOT THEM OR WATCH THEM SUFFER A HORRIBLE DEATH!!

PRIVATES GANT AND VIPER WERE ACCOUNTED AS MISSING IN ACTION! THEY RECIEVED SPECIAL COMMENDATIONS FOR THEIR DUTY TO THEIR COUNTRY. THEY WERE NEVER HEARD FROM AGAIN!! :(
