All I could do is pray to GOD, ask to forgive all my sins, and please take me out peacefully! I knew once I went under, I would suffer from suffocation that could be painful!!

God must have heard my prayer! Didn't know where it came from! I stretched and reached for the stick; even at the risk of sinking further. I grabbed the branch and was able to pull myself up from this dreadful quicksand!

I felt as if I was given a new lease on life when suddenly, the branch sank under my weight, causing me to sink back into the quagmire!!!
