Trying out Second Life

Hello,
I've just gotten my hands on a new laptop, and am finally able to get into Second Life. Since the SL Viewer kept freezing on me, I've downloaded Alchemy to see if it works better with 64-bit. So far, it seems ok. Anyways, everyone... meet Jaina. In this scenario, she pays a visit to QS Cove, and thinks she finds a spot to work on her tan. Unfortunately for her (but not for us), the stretch of sand swallows her feet, then her legs. Her struggling only makes things worse. Since she was trying for that "all over" tan, she neglected to bring a shirt to snag something with.
Out of curiosity, where are there other places to sink, besides Quicksand Cove? Jaina is the explorative type, and seems to get lost easily.
