Some KlingAI 2.1 Vids
Hello, King released a new generator for vids and I decided to try them out with my monthly free points. And I'll say right now I'm very satisfied with how it makes them sink. Just like my last post on the subject, I figured it would be a waste if no-one else saw them. Enjoy!
The second vid is my personal favourite. I love it when the damsel reaches for a lifeline

Re: Some KlingAI 2.1 Vids
I've also been running Kling 2.1 through no small amount of testing.
For those who haven't been following Kling, the 2.0 release was largely disappointing. I'd even argue that it was a blatant cash grab. The quality of the outputs was generally much better, but it was 3x the cost, notably in that it only released with the "Master" model.
Kling 2.1 fine-tuned the outputs and released the "Pro" model and the "Master" model, the Pro model being the base model with the same costing as Kling 1.6, and Master being the superior quality with longer generation time. This effectively means that Kling 2.1 is now usable for experimentation.
My overall observations on Kling 2.1:
Kling 2.1 is vastly superior when making ordinary animations - talking, walking, even action scenes such as running, shooting, etc. The actions look more natural and human with better cohesion, though not perfect. The biggest difference between Kling 1.x nad Kling 2.x is that the 2.x model uses more "normal" speed animations, whereas 1.x almost always uses slow-motion.
However, Kling 2.x struggles a lot with mud textures, and almost always fills them with water, as with most AI animation apps. There are some outputs that, with the perfect image reference, you can keep as muddy soil or goop. It also does much better in dynamic changes to clothing, such as becoming damp or muddy. The extra animations such as moving their arms and struggling are also good. But 90% of outputs quickly turn into water. You will need to do a lot of prompting to get the desired effect, and some can be very good.
Kling 1.6 is still better for realistic quicksand textures, but is not immune from watery warping.
I've attached a selection of my trials using the paid version. Safrun is a non-QS running scene featuring a still from one of my Safari Girl videos, showing the improved animations. The others are various partially-submerged scenes. Saf21 is a circling camera shot, Leg21 is involves the character using their arms, Safn21 is an implied nudity shot (shoulders-up) and Bus21 is a sinking segment with nice undulating mud.

Kling 1.6 is still better for realistic quicksand textures, but is not immune from watery warping.

Wow all of these are excellent. I see what you mean about the ai turning the mud into water after a certain point. I love your work btw, very cinematic

I'm getting the hang of using the right inputs. This is a good demo of three characters in a dynamic camera scene.
