Not exactly Citizen Kane but it remained stuck in my brain to this day. Impossible fiction in 1987 but recent developments have really seized my imagination. Ponder these events and this not implausible timeline if you will.
2026 - Humanoid robots from China, Boston Dynamics, Tesla, etc. reach regular production.
2030 - AGI - Artificial General Intelligence is achieved and rapidly works it's way into making the next generation of humanoid robots truly interactive.
2033 - Enterprising types are printing very realistic "skins" from your photos for such robots.
2036 - MPV purchases several second hand robot models and recreates past glory with benefit of it's extensive photo collection. Sarge relocates to Tennessee and begins a furious restoration of Camp MPV. In July 2036 the place reopens as Camp MPVi. Not only are the lightly used replicas of days past available to shoot videos, you can play with them too. For a moderate fee of course.
Now here's the big question. Is the following bit of video real? AI? Or a robo-replica using an AGI intellect programmed with the world's most diverse collection of quicksand video?
The next 10-15 years are going to be really wild.
