I'm mildly concerned at the obsession of stripping and sinking a character from a kids cartoon, considering the history of blatant and borderline underage characters that OP has shared.

And by "obsession", this is the second Smurfette thread. The other one has nearly 50 AI clips posted in the span of two weeks, half of which were on one day. How is this not a violation of the sub-forum rules?

It's not.

3) Do not flood posts/topics with repetitive images. Inane amounts of output gets boring quickly. Quantity does not take on a quality of its own in this genre. It cheapens it.

I have to side with Viridian on this one, how is that not by definition flooding a post with repetitive image (videos)?

Or perhaps the 300 PAGE topic and its little 100 page sibling run by the same guy? They’re your rules. Enforce them or get rid of them.

I am legitimately asking what part of this rule allows these threads to continue. Because, credit where it is due, it does spell out why the rule was included: to preserve quality through selective sharing of AI outputs rather than "cheapening" AI creations through "inane amounts of output".

The rule was created because this exact user created threads that spammed 10-20 identical images from the same prompt.

But the same person spamming 50 video clips of the same prompt and output is OK?

Seriously, look at this thread:
viewtopic.php?f=30&t=30767

10 clips of the exact same prompt with the same result.

This isn't even AI slop at this point. It's laziness to the point of not even bothering to select an output and change the file name. I've said this before: with the current AI tools, anyone can create an infinite number of outputs. A community forum like QSF should not be a dumping ground for every single one of them.

If one person uploading 15-20 images a day is OK because they're all different is OK, then sure, I can see that as a fair line to draw. But surely someone uploading 20-50 video clips of the exact same thing is not OK.

I was about to add another rant about art theft, but I just noticed that the rules were updated stealthily a couple of weeks ago to reflect a permission-only policy, which is sensible. I'm not asking for a rule change in this case, only that the rules either be enforced or clarify what is allowed.

Paradoxically, with limitations on file sizes for individual uploads, it isn't possible to upload AI videos of the uniqueness and quality that is supposedly desired, so most of us have to upload off-site (DA, Drive, etc.), but at least those sites feature thumbnails and streaming and don't require downloads. QSF only allows attachments that must be downloaded, so someone would have to manually download every single video clip... to find that they are the same thing.
