And, maybe it's just me, but the space/aircraft in the backgrounds of this series are cool in a retro/funky sort of way. Like an old Hudson or Studebaker ready for warp speed.

Opposite of "all thumbs", depends on whether you mean colloquially or literally, colloquially probably careful, literally "no thumbs" or "all fingers". \This one fitted both cases, the left hand was all fingers, the right hand had too many fingers. The hazards of picking pics from thumbnails and being in a bit of a rush. As to how the pic got through my vetting, I guess I must have closed it without editing it when in Photoshop and not noticed, it happens sometimes, my cat has a habit of standing on the keyboard when she wants attention.

The spaceships come from a style I found online called "Retro Futurism", it seems to do a good job, I like the results as well.
