Hmm, these look almost too normal for this thread

Almost, these have been waiting for a while for their moment in the spotlight. When I did these I was splitting my sessions into normal work and experimentation, these resulted from the experimentation side of things when I was looking at stuff that wasn't photorealistic. Since then, I've changed what I'm doing and the experiments are mixed in with the "normal" stuff, in some case the differences are a single setting. I've also blurred my "normal" constraints and now include non-photorealistic images. This leaves the "Off the beaten track" thread with the more extreme/oddball stuff plus ones from the backlog (it's quite a large backlog). The thing with AI is that if you follow the same path all the time you end up with a lot of similar images, same pose, same depth, same look and people quickly switch off. I keep changing path and pushing the parameters as far as I can to see what turns up, in an attempt to be able to keep putting up stuff that is a bit different. Not everyone is going to like it but, if they stop to look I'll be satisfied.

AI can really do spray-on clothing, mostly it is one setting, the higher you make it, the tighter the outfits get!

bogbud wrote:Second lady will catch a cold (at least!). That suit may be waterproof but i doubt has adequate insulation. Must have been some serious and sudden drop of temps here.... :o

Judging by the spark in the background, there appears to be some volcanic activity here, so the mud may not be as cold once you are through the surface.

Must be a bit hazy as well, you can't really tell where the horizon is. Looking at the colour, if that was near me that would be most likely a sunset, sunrises tend to be more yellow/golden.

I guess know what you mean. Maybe you have already found that Artist "Mudhorror" on DA. He's posting batches of pics by the hundreds, it's impossible to keep track and value them individually.

Still have to admit, that sometimes i'm feeling a strange affection to his desperate gals and especially those areas they're sinking in. These are just a little bit darker and edgier version of my own swamp. I wonder if you could try out a similar style sometime

Talking of these:

Yes, I've seen mudhorror's work, my feelings are similar to yours, too many too similar. That said, the images are excellent and dramatic and, like you, I find them engaging, but in small doses. This is generally a bit darker than where I normally go (AI image wise), but I'm not averse to the occasional dark image. I'm not sure I can replicate his setting though, I'd guess he's using different tools to me, but, there's nothing to stop me trying.

Just as an additional note, rather than copying images into this thread, could you post links in these situations? It 's not that you're doing anything wrong, and in normal circumstances I'd not object, but, given the timeout issues we've been having here, keeping thread display sizes down seems beneficial. Thanks.

Dang, those potholes are nasty over here. Even her thigh-boots are barely tall enough. What city is that

Done it. Technically they have not been copied, but wrapped into that [IMG]-command.

You know what these earth roads are like, a bit of rain and ... Don't know the location, it's not around me, it's a but rural here, we have plenty of potholes though, they aren't that deep but deep enough to give you a bit of a jolt!

Thanks for doing that, much appreciated. It was just that I've been getting the occasional timeout problem cropping up again and is seems to occur when opening and closing thread pages with 20 plus images, so I'm trying to avoid that if possible.
