I think a person would get bogged down quite easily in one of those dresses, the weight of water/mud they'd collect would be substantial and would severely restrict movement. Just getting the dress out on its own would be a struggle.

Duncan Edwards wrote:The dresses are cool. Not a huge fan of clothing but this is another level of peril. I can tell you from experience that a skirt like that and the corset underneath of it would be inescapable. It's not something that gets explored enough around here. Great work.

I'm thinking that may be Gummi and a red dress rather than a "personal experience". ;) But, yes, clothing like that adds a whole new level to the difficulty of escaping. I quite enjoy varying the clothing, I have personal favourites, but if I do too much of them I get bored with it, so I'm up for anything in terms of appearance, attire and settings.

Every now and then SD comes up with something oddball. This one made me laugh, so I thought I ought to post it to share the fun.

That's a common misconception in my opinion. All the water and mud has been there before and does not add to the weight of any object. There is also no force that suddenly starts to pull the dress down when it's already under water/mud.
Like Duncan said, getting back up and out is the problem when you want to work against gravity.

From my own experience i know, that sinking is the more easy, the sleeker and slippier the clothes/shoes are. You want to reduce the mass of mud that has to be pushed aside when you sink down and every gramm/ounce counts! There is even a noticable difference when wearing bulky chestwaders or a sleek rubber jumpsuit. The british-explorer-girls you did post Nov. 21 are wearing the best "sinking-clothes" you can get. :)

That is what I meant, getting into the mud isn't a problem, getting out again is. I refer you to Agnes Allen's law "Almost everything is easier to get into that out of, a personal favourite life law of mine.

She exists only as a line of text in cyberspace. I've got my system down to this -

Very dramatic 8K resolution b/w photo from a vintage Tarzan movie of bosomy young woman in wet open safari shirt in quicksand

That's her. She has no name, no history, nothing. Incredible, isn't it? You know her but she's just a digital dream. There's gonna be some super weird stuff like that coming in a few years.

I wondered what I would get if I used this prompt unchanged in my set-up. I've left my usual negative prompt and various settings and choices in place. I did experiment with some different sample models (you may notice the odd face change). This isn't meant to be "better", it was just to illustrate how fickle the AIs can be. Note: my set-up doesn't seem to understand the concept of "safari shirt".

Thanks, I thought these came out nice. Credit to Duncan for the prompt - hope he doesn't mind that I nicked it!

Back to the more mundane, a beach, a girl, a bikini.
