Artists have been doing this for a long time without AI. Even things like Photoshop have created an influx of fakes. "Fake nudes" were always a thing that were highly desired. AI hasn't changed that. It might now make it more visible to a slightly larger demographic when AI trends, but I don't think it will change the legal landscape when it comes to using and profiting off original art and likenesses.
