I don't think I've commented here before, very remiss of me. I'm not really a BBW fan, but you have some really nice images here and it is interesting to see how they've developed as the thread continues. Nice work, looking forward to seeing more.

If you haven't already tried this, add "water" and "roots" to negative prompts. I've found that the AI tends to associate mud and quicksand scenes with forests, swamps, water and roots, so generated images tend to lean towards mud puddles and fill the edges with roots. You can get the AI to clean up these outputs with those negative images and thicken the texture of the mud.

I usually have "water" in my negative prompt, I don't mind roots so much, sometimes they add a bit of character to the setting, but I can understand why you may not want them, if they are too reachable it would make escape easy!
Still plenty of variation in the subjects to keep interest up.
