Hiya,
I'm a newbie just wanting to say hello :)
My name is Janie and I use myself as a model...does anyone else do this? Here is an AI sink from a picture of myself prostrate on what appears to be a solid road...
Anyway, happy to be here and hope you are all brilliant.
Janie xx

You're not alone. Most of the mud images and videos I make with AI are using photos of myself. I've not had as many opportunities to sink in real life as I would like, but at least I can make do with AI. We can hope it only gets better as the models develop.

Quite true. I've tried a few head shot sinks and they are good if often too 'watery'...using words like thick and viscous helps. Sometimes it comes up with something fantastic but, as you say, it should become a little more specific in the future x

If I may interject, the models are already impressively advanced. They will get better, but as users, we also need to get better at knowing how to use them. If you want the AI to create something that you want, you need to provide it with something that leads it in the right direction. It will struggle to interpret things that don't make sense.

Most AI models will heavily associate "sinking" and "mud" with water. I use VEO and Kling and avoid those words like the plague, instead choosing "drier" alternatives but giving it an image that is clearly thick mud or clay.

Here, I swap out the gravel road for a mud texture I've used for my other videos.

With Kling image generation being free right now, at least we can experiment a bit without running out of credits. I've found having a good starting image is really important.

I was hoping Kling's KOLORS 2 would be a bit more faithful to the scenes. FluxAI is quite good with that (you can provide a scene and describe someone in it) but the drawback is you can't add for example a selfie to the image and have it put you in the mud. Kling will do that, and make a very good image of you, but the scene you upload only seems to be a suggestion, and you end up with a completely different scene.
