One more addition.... I modded a character to create a fresh one. I call her TARA, THE CAVE GIRL.

No text dialog in this clip.....cave girls don't talk (language hasn't been invented yet).

Hope you enjoy. Not much more I can do with this game in it's current form: https://youtu.be/zT0bX5uw2T8

Wow, awesome work! :D

On the subject of what more can be done with the game... have you been able to figure out where the game's sound effects are? The game has awesome sounds for bubbling and squelching (and stretching tar) but I couldn't find them anywhere in the game files.

I assume most of the game is hard-coded into the .EXE. The only stuff I found outside of that seems to be related to the mods made by MrBlackGoo. No sound effects found other than character sounds.

You COULD use an audio recorder to capture the sound effects in the game.

A commenter at YouTube asked for a copy of my TARA/ROKYO cave girl mod so that they could play with it in crackle cradle plus themselves.

If you'd like to do likewise, here ya go. Installation info is included in the READ ME file: http://www88.zippyshare.com/v/UF1mNwfi/file.html

Considering there are some bottomless mud pits in the game, perhaps we'll now have the opportunity to see this lovely Zelda incarnation sinking? :P

Apparently someone snuck in a downlaod link in a description of their video here:

Just a heads up though, as Zelda still has Link's voice, but I'm pretty sure that the creators of this mod is working on it...

I thought that Elefseus could provide a video of Betty and Synder in the slow-down mud...

I was planning on doing so, however, Xbox emulation is still at its early stages, which makes it a complete inconvenience. Add to the fact that I don't have the necessary resources (physical devices, such as the Xbox and TV-to-computer recording equipment) for such a thing, as well as being filled with different real-life tasks. With that, it is encouraged that anyone else who has said game may share clips for these obstacles.

I think I managed to find a link to an Rom of the game...

Man, I was getting really interested, then the horse stumbled into the.......murky water? (that's still clear enough to see thorough). Wish I had the skills to mod THAT game.

You can get off the horse and walk into the mud yourself, unless that's not what you're talking about...

No, just that it doesn't seem like mud in any way. It looks like they are standing in a dirty pond, and the horse trots around in there with no sign of resistance from mud OR water, as if it weren't even there. I'm afraid it does nothing for me, though it had so much potential. If only it were more like Second Life, or at the least slow down the horse a little as it does to characters in some games.

Sorry if I sound gripey. I guess I'm still upset about PM2K. Not the first time I've experienced this type of loss. nor the second...
