Hula Girl Quicksand Commission

“Hey look, it’s that DethMetal person with another bunch of commissions”

Indeed it is, and this batch I think is quite extraordinary and special. Those of you on DA & FA are likely familiar with the artist Shonuff44, a truly gifted artist to say the least. And if you are familiar with him, then you are likely familiar with an original character of his, the lovely jungle girl Hula Girl, who has even been in a quicksand picture in the past. Well, last month Sho opened up commissions, something he only appears to do a couple of times a year. This time around I was fortunate enough to get in on a group of commission slots with him, and of course requested a short series of Hula Girl sinking in quicksand, and I must say, I think the results are absolutely gorgeous.

I’ve long been a fan of jungle girls, and Hula Girl, with those incredible thighs of hers is easily my favorite jungle girl, and I think this image really showcases her beautifully, as she wanders into a sticky situation.

If there is one thing you have to love about Hula Girl it is her hips, and the butt that goes along with them, and this picture really shows that lovely backside of hers off, as she is just about up to her gorgeous butt in trouble. ; )

I think this is easily my favorite of this series, not only is her expression absolutely great, speaking volumes in and of itself, as she seems to be realizing the severity of her situation, but her body language as well is wonderfully expressive,… clearly things are not only proving deeper and stickier than expected, but clearly our jungle heroine is not liking the feel of this tenaciously clingy quicksand.

I agree with you about the third frame. That's my favorite of the bunch as well. The girl is beautiful, her expression is priceless, and that's some of the best hand-drawn quicksand I've seen (I'm assuming this was hand-drawn,yes?). I love how it clings to her hands and swirls around her.

Thank you Sixgunz, I'm glad you like them. Oh, if you aren't you should definitely check out his gallery, only one other quicksand picture, also of her, but a lot of really great looking curvy women, including lots more of the lovely Hula Girl there.

Oh exactly, the expression in the third is what really draws me to it, her face and body are so wonderfully expressive, even the skull bra seems to be expressive. Heh. I usually prefer sandier looking quicksand, but that is some really nice, thick, clingy looking jungle quicksand there to be sure,... truly treacherous looking stuff. Hmm,... I honestly don't know if it's hand-drawn or done digitally somehow,... I'm inclined to think it might be a bit of both.

Heh, indeed she does, but I think that might be difficult with her arms stuck in such obviously thick, sticky and treacherous quicksand,... I'd say the only place she is going is Down.

Frame 1: Oh, my, YES... I've always loved the THICK, strong, sexy curves of Hula Girl's voluptuous, curvy physique and figured she'd look wonderful getting stuck and slowly sinking in to quicksand or mud... and, this is most MAGNIFICENT! ShoNuff44 does beautiful work!

Love the looks of the steamy jungle mud lands as Hula Girl trudges her way through. Love the perplexed expression on her face and love her sexy pose and the position of her arms as she appears to rear back and lift at the BIGNESS of her flaring left calf, which is stuck in the sticky grip of the mud. Love how her right leg is being driven deeper into this jungle trap as she concentrates of freeing her left leg. You can almost hear the sucking squelches of the mud as she grunts and groans in her efforts to get out of the mire. She definitely looks STUCK!

Beautiful hairstyle and I love the abbreviated fit of her sexy attire, and love how her micro mini-skirt shows off the HUGE, powerful thickness of her sexy, sweaty thighs. Love the sweaty sheen glistening on her smooth skin as her arduous efforts increase in intensity. And, I like how the flowery adornment of her outfit hints at the potential presence of a sexy, floral scent lingering about her.

And, yes, her thighs are indeed most incredible!


Frame 2: This is my favorite of the series... love that sexy depth that the thickness of her HUGE, sexy thighs are mired at. The suction forming along the wide girth of the sexy curves of those sweaty thighs must be quite tremendous as she PULLS with all her might to lift her right leg. Love how the mud grips her impressive thighs as her efforts to free her right leg plunges her left leg deeper into the muddy trap. Love the increasing sweatiness of her strong, sexy physique as her struggles to pull her stuck legs free of the jungle mire intensifies. And, one can only imagine the increasing sweetness of her sweaty, floral fragrance as her strong, sweaty physique twists and writhes in the hot, humid environment of the jungle.

Love the camera angle and view from behind. A wonderfully sexy pose and positioning of her arms as she twists and writhes in the suction of the mud, slowly sinking to her doom. Love the whipping of her long hair as she looks back over her shoulder, and love the BIG, sexy sweetness of her magnificent derriere. She looks to be SUPER STUCK in the mud now.

Love how ShoNuff44 drew her facial expression... that really brings out the excitement of the piece. Seems Hula Girl has finally come to realize what great danger she's in as she settles deeper and deeper into the dark depths below. She's probably also wondering, "Where's that damn monkey when you need him?!"


Frame 3: I can see why this is your favorite scene of the series... it is quite magnificent!

Hula Girl's really in trouble now. This drawing captures the severity of Hula Girl's sticky situation quite beautifully. Love the camera angle and the view from ground level. When you take into consideration of how THICK, voluptuous, curvy, and heavy her hips, derriere, thighs and calves are and how all of her sexy lower body is deeply mired in the thick, heavy mud, one can only imagine how inescapable the suction is that holds her fast. And, seeing how the mud has a glue-like consistency that clings heavily to her hands and arms, and imagining that same tenaciousness adhering to the HUGENESS of her lower body, there's no way she's getting out of this mess without some really serious help. She looks to be well and truly STUCK!!!

Love the expression on her face as she struggles and strains, her hips thrashing against the thickness of the quicksand as she slowly sinks deeper and deeper. You can almost hear her snarl, "...UUUNNNNNNGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!" through her gritted teeth as she writhes in the sticky suction of the jungle mud. Love her pose and body language as she rocks back and forth in her futile attempts to break to grip of the mud's suction. Love the increase in the heavy sweatiness of her strong, sexy body as her struggles intensify and her sexy, sweaty, intensly floral fragrance lingers heavily about her, filling the surrounding air. And, the apparent "winking" of one of the cups of her skull bra is a cute touch.


Frame 4: Beautiful way to complete the series. Such a sexy pose and depth. With her arms now stuck fast in the sticky suction of the thick, treacherous mud, Hula Girl is hopelessly TRAPPED! She's at the total mercy of the mud and jungle as she ever so slowly settles deeper and deeper, the magnificence of her impressive breasts inching further into the mire as the minutes pass.

Love the extreme sweatiness of her face, arms, and breasts, testimony to her intense, valiant efforts to free herself of the mud's sucking grip. Love the idea of the air surrounding her being saturated with the heavy, floral sweetness of her sweaty scent emanating from her hot, sweaty arms, breasts, face, and hair. Also love ShoNuff44's attention to detail as her thick, beautiful hair spreads out across the quicksand's surface as she continues to sink even deeper. Love the mistiness of the swampy surroundings... gives a hot, humid feel to her sinky situation.

What really makes this piece special is her facial expression... it's like a, "Why me?!" look. In fact, I love that Hula Girl's expression always remained determined and "No Fear" versus being panicked with her screaming and getting hysterical. She maintained a brave demeanor as she fought the quicksand every inch of the way.

Image 1: Oh, you and me both, I’ve long loved Hula Girl, as you say, those Thick, sexy curves of her strong, curvy, buxom physique are just so beautiful, and so perfect for being mired and sinking in quicksand or other muck. I’ve long thought about seeing her in other sinking situations ever since that first chest-deep picture of her years ago, and this really hits the nail right on the head, just gorgeous. Indeed he does, no doubt there.

The jungle looks really nice, and the steam effect is very fitting and very well done, you can practically feel the humidity around her. Oh, yes, even at this shallow depth she is clearly starting to wonder if something is wrong, and her expression and posture really give the impression of her starting to question continuing on and starting to slow back and maybe consider turning back. But with that thick ooze already to her one knee and nearly to the other, you have to wonder if it is already too late? Yet still she tugs on her left leg, trying to lift it up abit, at the expense of her right leg, but she does indeed seem to already be quite stuck. And yes, that is some really nice and thick muck there, especially when you notice the wake being left on the surface behind and around her, clearly she was already not stepping through this mire, but trudging through it without picking her feet up out of it.

Oh, her hair is beautiful, so full and shiny and soft-looking, and that lovely leaf skirt that just barely covers what it needs to, but could easily give glimpses beneath if it swayed a little bit, all the while really accentuating the curves of her wide hips and lovely thick thighs. The sheen on her skin I think is a nice touch, that further speaks of her efforts against the muck, and the foggy humidity around her. Heh, yes, I’ve always thought that with the flowers on her ‘belt’ and in her hair that should would have a sweet floral scent to her, a sharp contrast to the jungle marsh around her.

Image 2: Oh, I can certainly see why you favor this one,… those THICK lovely thighs, the equally THICK quicksand squeezing in around them. It’s not hard to imagine the kind of suction that must be gripping them, with so much to grip. I think the wake around and behind her on the surface says a lot, clearly she was still trudging along through the marsh, but her expression, that obviously sudden turn of her head, her posturing, the position of her hands and arms, all really give the impression that her trudging just stopped, as the grip of the mud no longer wishes to left go enough to keep moving forward, and I would say, as she tugs as her tightly stuck thighs, that this took her by surprise. And of course that little flaring up of the leaves of her skirt, giving a peak at her thong beneath, also speaks of a sudden, surprising stop to movement. Yet, as you say, you can’t help but imagine that sweet floral aroma all around her, cutting through the jungle humidity.

I’ve always loved a good back shot at this depth, and Sho really did it great here, with the angle and level of the camera. Her pose is so wonderful, showing off her sexy curves, giving the impression of her suddenly turning her head and twisting her body as she feels herself becoming stuck, slowly sinking down into the treacherous mud, accentuated by the slight whipping of her hair. Of course, this really showcases that BIG sexy incredible backside of hers, and as this image shows it truly deserves to be shown off. Oh, yes, I would say she is INCREDIBLY STUCK at this point, and going nowhere but DOWN.
Her facial expression is great, what a lovely look of surprise, as the realization of her situation dawns on her, as she sinks deeper and deeper into the thick sucking mire. Heh. She probably is, but I think it is going to take more than that monkey to get her out this time.

Image 3: Indeed, normally the butt-deep images are my favorite, but this one is just incredible.

Oh, I would certainly say that she is in very serious trouble, and this piece really shows it wonderfully. The camera angle is great, it really brings out this piece better than a higher vantage point would. Oh, indeed, when you consider all the THICKNESS that has already been sucked under,… her wide hips and round bottom, her thick thighs and calves, all being gripped in the tight suction of the thick heavy mud,… and there is just so much to grip,… she is indeed very firmly ‘planted’ and being dragged down by what must be incredible suction all around her lower body. This image is where we Really see what she is struggling against, that thick gluey clinging mud that has been hinted at so far, but now you Really see the thickness and tenacity of it, that is some truly treacherous mire there, and the realization that she is sunk over her hips in what is pure jungle death-trap certainly is cause for concern. She is good and rightly STUCK and TRAPPED.

Her expression is what I love most about this image, and what really draws me to it, a mixture of uneasiness, straining, and realization of what she is stuck in, along with I think a touch of,.. well, I wouldn’t say disgust,… but I really don’t think she likes how this stuff feels all around her lower body. Her posture and body language I think speak even more to this, as she writhes and squirms against this sticky gooey jungle quicksand, straining to break free of its grip. The obvious increased sweat is a great touch, it really accentuates her straining and struggling, the effort she is putting against the mire, in this humid jungle heat, yet still you get a sense of her ever-present floral aroma. Lol, yes, I thought that the ‘winking’ of the skull was a great little touch.

Image 4: Thank you, I thought so as well. As a long time Pete Boggs fan I simply couldn’t go without a chest-deep shot in this series. Oh, indeed, with her arms stuck like that in that thick clingy mud she is very much STUCK, TRAPPED and seemingly HELPLESS. As you say, she is very much at the mercy of the jungle quicksand and unless she gets some very strong help and soon she is just going to keep sinking, deeper and deeper, inch by inch, until the quicksand swallows her up. Blub.

Yes, she is practically dripping with sweat, which really speaks to her vigorous struggling and squirming to escape the quagmire, to no avail. Mmm, that is a lovely thought, that even at this depth, and all that effort she would still be surrounded by that sweet floral aroma, even in that obviously hot misty humid jungle. Oh, yes, the hair looks great floating on the bog around her, and not just as one thick mass, but clearly separated out as it floats, which is a great touch and attention to detail, I agree.

Oh, absolutely, the expression really makes this piece,.. and yes, pretty much a “*Sigh* Oh bother” kind of expression. Oh, yes, I’ve always loved the fearless ones,…. Rather than the ones that panic and scream and all that,… the ones that keep fighting and resisting, squirming and struggling defiantly, even as the quicksand is closing over the tops of their heads. That has certainly been Hula Girl through this entire series, and this last picture really punctuates that. Plus I think the comment not only fits that expression perfectly, but it really accentuates the whole piece, and her attitude. Upto her breasts in extremely treacherous quicksand, arms stuck, and potentially moments away from being sucked down to her doom,… “Pfft,… just another Monday commute”. Lol. XD
