Not quite quicksand, but some nice images all the same. The first pic is from a trip to a volcano in Columbia, the rest are part of a farming thing where you have to dive into mud to get radishes.

I have tried scouring the Internet for video clips on both scenes, only to find that the only links have long been taken down, and that there are no leads to the second.
However, I have managed to find myself a clip from a later episode of the series from the first clip, that being Sekai Fushigi Hakken!, presented last September 14 of this year.
