What...?

i know, it cracks me up that people are doing this!

Our local stores have none. I went early this morning and it's like Lord of the Flies in there. If you're after toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer, hydrogen peroxide or alcohol, you're SOL and JWF. And people are strangely polarized--either incredibly nice and chatty, even with strangers, or they're acting like they regard you as competition for what resources are left and they're willing to punch you in the throat for them. It's insane.

The shit really hit the fan yesterday when the asshats on the news started lying oops I mean "speculating" that there might be a 2month shutdown of "THE ENTIRE COUNTRY" (whatever that means). I wandered out to our local Walmart this afternoon.....the entire grocery section is empty. Mind blowing.

Not just brick and mortar stores. Look at what I encountered when I went to reorder pet food for the next month...

The irony is that the panic buying is creating the shortages.
My illustrious Govenor Tommy the Wolfdick shut down the state stores. Now I'm stuck in the house with no beer.

"Please don't chew the Charmin'?" (showing my age with that one).

A few stores are finally limiting purchase quantities. Hopefully that will let suppliers catch up.

Meanwhile, stores are making a fortune in sales. That's one silver lining in saving the economy.
