That’s a tender subject.

Bat Out Of Hell II was the first album I ever bought with my own money. Still have that old casset somewhere. RIP......

Re: Meat Loaf
I still have the 8-track of Bat Out of Hell.
Meat had taken to living in Nashville, the old rockers graveyard, in recent years and frequently appeared on lower Broad at John Rich's club. He never stopped rocking even though his health was not the best. The dreams of my relentlessly horny youth were often inspired by his bombastic, rock opera style, over the top theatrics. I loved it and can probably still recall every word of every song. I think I'm also one of 7 or 8 people who went to see Roadie - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0081433/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk Although that was as much for Blondie as it was for Meat Loaf. He was a great guy who didn't let a messed up childhood stop him from following his dream and finding his perfect place in the world. Sorry he's gone.

It's a dirty job but I got to do it for over 20 years. Thank you.

"His name is Robert Paulson.”
Just when we thought 2021 was the Hump we just had to get over... and Betty White was called Home... This.
I kinda chuckled a bit; he didn't want to get the jab nor wear a mask. Just then I realized that the song being played on the radio was none other than "I'd do anything for Love but I Won't Do That." :-I I won't do that...
So I kinda like the new Catch Phrase; "F you '22"

Is that like 'Catch 22' then? Just kidding.
Other than the songs that got good radio play, I wasn't exposed to much Meatloaf, although I knew who he was.
I thought he was pretty good (acting) in Formula 51 (POS 51 in the UK - somehow they thought that title was problematic in the US).
