Now that sounds interesting. I just wonder if it is enough for a full-length movie.
I'm already chindeep in this mudbog and every desperate attempt to move my stuck legs only drives me deeper in. The thick mud slowly swamps my waders and my arms have nothing to hold onto.
I'm feeling home.
I'm feeling home.

My thoughts exactly, and I also wonder which one of us is responsible for the idea Maybe (and hopefully), there will be multiple sinking scenes.
And I love your current avatar pic Bogbud. Would so love to see her sinking!
Finally broke down and went to see a psychologist. She told me I just have an overactive imagination—and it really excited her. We're going sinking next weekend. Theo's AI Quicksandbox New stuff every weekend (unless life gets in the way)

Nope. Nope. Not going for it. Not gonna get excited no matter how promising it may look because we all know Hollywood can fuck up a cup of coffee

So true, and so hilarious! Of course, if they'd bring in people who actually know what they're doing (you know like, maybe some professional gun instructors? I'll stop there) it might actually turn out. When they reach out to some of the great producers on here, then maybe we can start getting excited.

Here's another article and IMDB says production is underway. I'll be watching for more. This article seems to think they will spend most of the movie in quicksand. I expect it's more of the usual metaphorical reference to romance and the like. She's cute. He doesn't look too bright. We'll see.

It's a dirty job but I got to do it for over 20 years. Thank you.

About the only way I can think of to have actual quicksand images throughout a 90 minute movie with the stated theme is if the quicksand is a flashback visualization of the couples struggles to get along. We shall see.... maybe.
Studio 588 currently offers more than 2200 different HD and QD quicksand videos and has supported production of well over 2400 video scenes and other projects by 13 different producers. Info may be found at:

That’s my thoughts. What’s a typical run time for most movies? 2 hours? If it is truly that long, no matter how poor the scene might be, we might at least have a record of the worlds longest quicksand scene.

All I know is if Hollywood does nothing but have them hip deep in a mud puddle for 90 minutes, I’m going to rage quit

The only latest Hollywood production worth it’s weight in gold and relatively delivered (and actually wasn’t a bad movie to watch) was The Marsh. That was in 2006. Sadly, Hollywood overall doesn’t have the best track record with these things, but I digress… I have to admit that the likes of Dave and other producers here spoiled me somewhat.
