Indeed. Then it's a decision as to which (damn) version to watch.

I think I have (in addition to others) the long version which contains a scene where the boys are bonking the Playmates - at least one of which had mud on her. The whole thing was shot in the aftermath of an actual typhoon which wrecked havoc on the production.

Nothing to do with Robert Duvall, but excellent fantasy fuel none the less.

Neil’s big hits were a bit before my time. However, he came back big time when he co-wrote Love Will Keep Us Together for The Captain and Tennille in 1975. It won record of the year at the Grammies. Right at the end of the record, you can hear Toni and the background singers chime in with “Sedaka is back” during the closing da-da-da-da chorus, acknowledging his talent in giving them this big hit song. RIP.

My introduction to him was via "LAUGHTER IN THE RAIN" and I swear it was a year or two before I discovered that this was not a woman's lovely voice singing. He had me totally fooled. :o

But when it comes to Neil Sedaka hits this will always be my favorite. :P
