Looks like a pit filled with foam beads. Cocoa-Soft recently did a video along these lines, though on a much smaller scale: http://www.cocoa-soft.net/download/cofb-001/index.html.

Great fun! I like how they repeat her sinking several times!

I can confirm that extracting the videos from browser's cache works fine. They are in .flv format.

I'm using google chrome with vlc and it works great. :)

Stunning find - now that is a reality/game show I'd like to see here in the States!

As for the beads, Bondage Cafe used something similar when they did the quicksand sink scene for their "O-Girl" series - one of my favorites.

That is awesome! Love the slow sinking under the surface of the two (cute) women, especially the way the beads framed their faces just before submerging. Just wish there was something like this here in the US on a regular basis.

It amazes me to see how other countries don't see to have the same "hang-ups" that we have in the 'States. Asian TV shows have been doing stuff like this for dozens of years. Same with South American countries.

And when you consider how eager the Pinays are with doing the quicksand scenes, it does make one think about how our culture has formed.

And I will say that I really enjoyed watching those videos. I'm stuck in a hotel room tonight in Lawton, OK (talk about boring!) so this was a welcome change!
