My dog died :(

Last Wednesday my Lab Shepard mix Misty started having seizures for some reason so off to the vet I went as fast as I could, the vet did about everything he could but finally told me it was something that I can' even pronounce let alone spell but that it was fatal, so I brought her home to spend the most time with her as I could before she died, this morning at 5 am she was whining so I got up and held her after about 5 minutes she died in my arms, I haven't stopped crying yet, so if I'm not my usual sarcastic self you know why.

I am so sorry for your loss. Dogs are wonderful. I have had two of them and they were just so very dear.

When my first dog died, a dear (muddy) friend (who's a member here) sent me this poem. Now's a good time to post it.

(I notice Rudyard Kipling is quoted in a different poem here too. He must have really liked dogs. That means that I like him.)
