Very good work. I definitely prefer good stories with quicksand in them to "quicksand stories" (although I take a guilty pleasure in those too.)
You do realize you've created a whole new universe and some very strong characters in this little story?

I also really liked this. I'm all about the good story over the simple plop and sink, although I really like them too. It is what I've tried to do in my forays in quicksand fiction, all of which are posted throughout this thread.

Thanks! When I found out about the liberal attitude on this site,it got my creative juices flowing!
I forgot to add that I have a few tales tucked away that are HILARIOUS involving quicksand.
One about 2 Star Wars fans getting revenge on Hayden Christensen. For his shitty acting job in the last 2 Star Wars movies! Do you think that would go well here?

Yep. Looks like Quicksand Doctor74 deleted all his posts before departing the forum. Sigh. He could be a little annoying (OK, a lot) but he was cool, and we shared a bunch of common interests.

Yep you were'nt kidding! Damned annoying. But it was probably my soon to develop brain anneurysm(?Spelling?) That probably helped cause some of my behaviour. Hope you have a great life Nachtjaeger.
