Must I answer thee these questions 3? :?: Okay here goes...

Your name is Six Guns Loaded, you quest is to make the ultimate QS movie, your favorite color is red...NO BLUE! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!

Sorry, could not resist.

1. Real Flow is a fluid dynamics simulator to do water and other fluid effects in CGI programs. In addition to the Disappearing Act movie I noted above, I also did a quick little QS movie about a girl who falls into the QS head first and sinks from sight! You can see that movie here...

I'm also working on a big, and I mean BIG, remake of Disappearing Act. I made that movie when I had only just barely learned how to user Real Flow and made a lot of mistakes. I've learned a lot since so I want to try again with some extra vore and QS goodness thrown in for good measure.

You can see stills of my work in progress for Disappearing Act version 2 here...

2. You can get it here: http://realflow.com/ The good news is you can get it for relatively little money. About 85 dollars US, or 75 Euros. The bad news is in order to use it with Poser, you need another program such as Lightwave, 3D Studio Max, or Maya, which are all expensive. Lightwave which is the least expensive of the three and the one I use is 1000 dollars brand new. https://www.lightwave3d.com/

3. Will Real Flow work on your old machine? Yes, but the calculations to do the fluid simulations take a lot of number crunching. I have an AMD FX9550 4.7Ghz with 8 cores and it still can take days, if not weeks to do a decent QS simulation. At one point on my old computer, it was taking over 20 minutes per frame to simulate.

EDIT:

If we take your movie, at 90 seconds times 20 minutes per frame...

Number of seconds times 30 frames per second...
90 x 30 = 2700 frames

...times 20 minutes per frame...
2700 x 20 = 54000 minutes of simulation time

...divided by 60 minutes in an hour...
54,000 / 60 = 900 hours of simulation time

...divided by 24 hours in a day...
900 / 24 = 37.4 days of simulation time!

Sorry if I got your hopes up, but your movie would be even more fantastic if the QS was a fluid like. :D Just might take a while. ;)

The good news is my new computer is much faster, and they just came out with a new version of the software that has a new fluid dynamics engine that's supposed to be much much faster.

Cheers,

P.S. Here's another movie I did with Real Flow. No QS in this one. It was a private commission for a friend that wanted plant vore.

I made great use of Real Flow in this and gives a good idea of some of the things the software can do.

Thanks for the info! :) Yeah, the $85 for Real Flow sounds very reasonable but you're right, the cost of Lightwave is rather prohibitive at this point. Especially, since I'm saving for a new custom built PC that will be able to handle this stuff easily. Also, I need new versions of Poser and Photoshop so it will certainly be a while. Guess I'll have to stick with my primitive looking qs props for now. At least I can still make still shots look good.

Those movies you made were all fantastic! Excellent work and thank you for them! I think I've seen Country Girl's Fate before but the others were new to me. I see what you mean about the benefits of Real Flow. I love the way it moves and splashes. Very realistic. I imagine it's pretty complicated to learn? I'm sure at some point I'll invest in it but not until I have a better machine. Five-plus weeks of rendering time...ouch...

P.S. Yes, my favorite color is blue! :P
How long did Tarzan watch before deciding to save Jill..?

Hey dude,

The basics of Real Flow are pretty simple and straight forward, but it took me a while to figure out some of the details. Fortunately for you, you can always ask me to help out! :D They just came out with a new version a Real Flow 2015 a couple of months ago and it has a new fluid dynamics engine called Dyverso. It's much faster than the old engines so that will help out a lot.

One piece of good new is they are about to release a new version of Poser. When they do that, the older versions usually go on sale. If you want to do this someday, I highly recommend Poser Pro 2014. It comes with a plugin called PoserFusion which allows you to import your poser scenes (geometry, textures, and animation) into Lightwave. The only thing that it can't import is dynamic hair, which really bugs me by the way. :x I'm working on trying to use Lightwave to do dynamic hair on poser figures, but so far no luck.

Remember, the 4 plus weeks of simulation time was my old machine. My new one is much faster and it also depends on how you setup the scene, how many fluid particles you use, and other things, so its not as bad as I made it sound. As with everything else, there's a learning curve.

Real Flow is same fluid simulator used by Hollywood, so it's very realistic. It's not totally realistic, for its designed as a special effects tool, (the same company has another piece of software that is much more realistic meant to be used by scientists and engineers) but check out some of the movies that have used Real Flow in recent years.

If you have any more questions, just ask.

Cheers! :D
