I'm currently fighting a major plumbing issue at home and spent yesterday into the night under the house in a very low crawl space digging up a sewer line. It was hot, stagnant, stinky, and after some hours, claustrophobic. I'm so dehydrated right now I feel like crap but can't sleep. It's a miserable feeling but I've been worse before. Having not had time to get acclimated I ran on a surprise 80 degree day once in early March and for the last few miles of the run I was with my favorite dog. Problem was the dog had been dead for several years and I didn't see a problem with that at the time but I knew something wasn't right. Fortunately the Gatorade wasn't far away but I felt rotten for a couple of days. A lot of it has to do with your age and what you get used to. I can now honestly say I'm too old for this shit. Literally.
