Yikes. Just goes to show and reveal just how delicate the threads of nuclear brinkmanship and proliferation are. Now imagine if that was higher up the totem pole? Imagine if our government actually acted on it (keep in mind, they have minutes or less to develop a response). No need to panic and of course there are a magnitude of variables here but if this doesn’t go to show just how easily a system of nuclear deterrence or MAD can fail in the face of a man who defies all tactical logic then I really don’t know what will.
