Elem. School shooting in Conn.

There was some hippie guy back in the 60's that said something like "Turn off and tune out". Dude was way ahead of his time.

I believe the quotation is "Turn on and tune out," bubt that might not be quite right either. The "hippy guy" was Timothy Leary. He was actually a professor, I think at Harvard, who started out doing research on LSD in an attempt to use it to study certain mental illnesses. He ended up hooked on the stuff and ruined his career.

It was "Tune in, turn on and drop out." Timothy Leary was a psychologist, and he became a hero to hippies for his advocacy of LSD. I don't know if he ruined his own life, but he ruined the lives of a lot of kids who took his advice.

You guys should see the "new" security we have here in Va beach for the elementary schools, we have ONE sheriff deputy assigned to each school all week till tomorrow when Christmas Break starts..that's all, middle and high schools have a resource officer ( cop assigned to the school which has been since I was in school ), but now a second police officer will " drive through ever now and then"
At my school we have ALL doors locked and the main entrance has always had one out of four open since 911, but now the custodian built a stronger desk for the poor girl sitting there checking in students, he's a hunter so he said it will stop a 12 gauge round, all I know is we tried to move it yesterday and it is a little too heavy for us to move.

Our head custodian has more common sense than the school system, I guess that's the advantage of 20 in the Marines huh?

This attitude and solution disgusts me. How about instead of turning our schools into prisions we put the retards that are doing this shit in cages where they belong?
Know what the last 3 major incidents have in common? The movie theater in Aurora, the mall in Portland, and Sandy Hook? Crazed nutfucking psychopaths hyped up on psychotropic drugs that should have been locked in a cage long before this shit ever happened. The first two were on anti-depressants and the child killing nutfucker was being forced fed large doses of Fanapt, a psychotropic known to cause delusions and violent aggression. These are people that have to be medicated just so that they don't eat the people around them, and we're allowing them to walk around with no supervision whatsoever. Put them in an asylum or at very least on a leash and none of these massacres would have happened.
