The film as a whole is really well done - the Predator franchise desperately needed a shot in the arm, and this is definitely it...I didn't have a lot of love for the recent films and I felt the Aliens vs. Predator movies were a wasted opportunity...too much humor/satire/breaking the fourth level - c'mon, man, just give me the wholesale slaughter I'm craving! - but this had a great plot, pacing, well-defined characters and terrific direction...and, yeah, a dynamite quicksand scene, too...there, I said it...
